Warehouse Operative – Picking, Packing, Goods In & Returns

Job Type: Temporary, Ongoing
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday
Start Date: Immediate starts available

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team in Wrexham on a temporary ongoing basis.

Please note: A minimum of 1 year’s recent warehouse experience is essential for this role. Candidates must have previous experience working within a warehouse environment, ideally with experience in goods in, returns, picking, packing and/or dispatch operations.

We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who can work accurately and efficiently while following company procedures and health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Processing goods in and checking incoming stock
• Handling and processing returned goods
• Preparing customer orders for dispatch
• Checking quantities, product details and order information
• Using basic computer systems to process and update orders
• Maintaining accurate warehouse records
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
• Following all company health and safety procedures
• Working effectively as part of a team to meet daily targets

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 1 year’s warehouse experience – this is essential
• Previous experience in goods in and/or returns is highly desirable
• Experience of picking, packing and dispatch operations
• Basic computer skills
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety
• Clean criminal record – a DBS check is required for this role

Candidates without the required minimum 1 year of warehouse experience will not be considered for this position.
