Packer / Extrusion Line Operator

Location: Avonmouth, Bristol Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour Contract Type: Temp to Perm Hours: Rotating shifts (4am–12pm / 11am–7pm), Monday–Friday

About the Role

A great opportunity is available for a Packer / Extrusion Line Operator to join a well‑established manufacturing company in Avonmouth. This role suits someone who enjoys practical, hands‑on work and is looking to develop technical skills within a production environment.

This is a temp‑to‑perm position, offering long‑term stability for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Packing customer orders accurately and efficiently

• Operating extrusion line machinery (full training provided)

• Loading and unloading raw materials and finished goods

• Carrying out heavy lifting safely

• Maintaining high quality standards throughout production

• Working effectively as part of a team

What We’re Looking For

• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred

• Experience in packing, materials handling, or shipping/receiving is beneficial

• Mechanical aptitude or interest in machinery operation

• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills

• Ability to lift safely and work in a fast‑paced environment

• Understanding of health and safety in warehouse operations

Shift Pattern

• Rotating fortnightly shifts:

  • 4am–12pm

  • 11am–7pm

• Monday to Friday

• Overtime available

• Occasional 8am–4pm & 6am – 2pm shifts as required
