Join Our Team as a Slitter/Rewinder Operative!

Are you motivated and detail-oriented? We’re looking for a Slitter/Rewinder Operative to join our client and help produce high-quality packaging materials. This role involves operating and maintaining slitting and rewinding machinery, ensuring efficiency and quality throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain slitting and rewinding machinery.
• Perform quality checks and adjustments to meet production goals.
• Manage the final steps of production, including inspecting, slitting, and rewinding reels.
• Ensure finished products are ready for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Complete necessary paperwork and job cards according to ISO standards.

Shift Pattern:

• No weekends or bank holidays
• 8am to 4:30pm Mon – Fri

Requirements:

• Experience in the print sector (labels, packaging, digital, large format, or litho print) is essential.
• Strong understanding of the print/labels/packaging industry.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Willingness to work independently for extended periods.
