Are you an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for AD-HOC work? We have exciting opportunities for both Day and Night Drivers to join our team based in Basingstoke.

Positions Available:

• Day Shift Drivers:

  • Pay: £16.61 per hour
  • Overtime (after 9 hours): £24.92 per hour
  • Role: Deliver to Howden stores with 4-6 drops per day. Shifts typically start at 5:00 AM.

• Night Shift Drivers:

  • Pay: £19.83 per hour (Night rate kicks in from 6:00 PM)
  • Overtime: £28.14 per hour
  • Role: Collect goods from central depots in Hemel and Northampton and return to Basingstoke. Shifts typically start at 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to meet delivery targets.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle logs.

Requirements:

• Must have driven a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle for at least 180 days in the last 24 months.
• Ability to meet delivery targets and work independently.
• Willingness to complete a mandatory unpaid assessment (approximately 1 hour) before starting.
