Job Description: As an Ad-Hoc HIAB Driver, you will be responsible for operating HIAB vehicles equipped with hook and grab attachments. You will handle various loads, ensuring safe and efficient delivery and collection across different job sites. The role demands high attention to safety protocols and adherence to all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate HIAB vehicles (hook and grab) to transport materials and equipment to designated locations.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
• Ensure all transportation activities comply with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers.

Requirements:

• Valid HIAB license with experience in hook and grab operations.
• Valid CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Clean driving record with a valid HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) license.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to HIAB operations.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Flexibility to work varying hours and take on assignments at short notice.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
