We are looking for a Reception Supervisor for our client based in Salisbury

Reports to: Operations Manager/SR. Duty Manager

Your day-to-day

• Training and development of the reception team in guest service and on all internal systems related to the department
• Managing and maintaining the quality of the department to always fulfil excellent customer service
• Managing the staffing of the department, producing weekly rosters in line with budgeted allowances
• Acting as a Duty Manager, ensuring the health, safety, and security of the building
• Dealing with guest complaints to an effective resolution
• Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities, so every guest leaves with great memories
• Be the point of contact for issues related to billing, changes, overbooking, no shows etc.
• Prepare performance reports related to the accommodation and reception
• Ensure implementation of all hotel policies and house rules
• Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily. Analyse rate variance, monitor credit report, and maintain close observation of daily house count

· Previous experience as a Supervisor in a hotel is essential for this role.

· Your passion will be to wow our guest with amazing service and efficient check in & out

· You will be obsessed about standards and genuinely care about guest experience and exceeding guest expectations.

· You are a great leader and strive to develop the reception team

· You will have the ability to remain calm during difficult situations or in a very busy environment

· A good working knowledge of Microsoft and knowledge of Reservation / PMS Systems

· Flexibility – evenings, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the role
