We’re extremely proud to celebrate a key milestone for Chelsea and Luke, who have both recently passed their probation period and are now fully established as Recruitment Consultants within the 24-7 Staffing team!

Over their first few months, both have shown real commitment to their desks, strong relationship building skills, and a genuine passion for supporting clients and candidates.

Chelsea – Recruitment Consultant, Industrial Desk

Before joining the recruitment industry, Chelsea spent seven years working as a chef, developing resilience, organisation and a strong work ethic, which has clearly transferred into her role within recruitment.

Chelsea describes her first few months as interesting and rewarding, particularly when it comes to helping people secure work. Running the industrial desk, she enjoys the variety that comes with no two days being the same, alongside building great relationships with clients and candidates.

One standout achievement during her first few months was successfully placing a candidate with a new client that the business has been trying to break into for almost 20 years, which is a real achievement and we’re incredibly proud of Chelsea for facilitating this. The client was so impressed and is now looking to take the candidate on permanently which is a fantastic result and a testament to Chelsea’s growing impact.

Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys travelling, which has allowed her to experience different cultures and (most importantly!) a wide variety of foods.

Chelsea’s focus is on continuing to build her desk by bringing on new clients while strengthening existing relationships.

Luke – Recruitment Consultant, Driving Desk

Luke joined recruitment with a hands-on background, having previously worked in construction for his dad’s company, where he learned multiple trades and worked on private extensions. This practical experience has proven invaluable in understanding the needs of clients and candidates within the driving sector.

Reflecting on his first few months, Luke highlights the strong support he received during his training, as well as navigating challenging periods, something he’s tackled with hard work and determination as his desk picked up momentum.

Luke thrives on the people-focused side of recruitment, enjoying daily conversations with drivers and clients. From hearing about routes and travels to sharing some top-tier banter, he’s built strong, trusting relationships across his desk.

A memorable highlight from his probation was a particularly challenging Christmas placement, which tested his resilience during a very busy period, and paid off.

Outside of recruitment, Luke has a few surprising claims to frame… He once scored a hat trick against Manchester United’s academy with Paul Pogba watching, and he also competed professionally in Call of Duty. (And for anyone wondering – come on you Spurs!)

Going forward, Luke’s goal is to stabilise his strongest weeks and turn that level of performance into the norm.

Looking Ahead

Chelsea and Luke have both made an excellent start to their recruitment careers, each bringing their own strengths, personalities, and experiences to their desks. We’re excited to see how they continue to grow, develop their markets and contribute to the success of the wider business.
