As a Despatch Operative, you will be accountable to the Despatch Supervisor and play a crucial role in organising finished goods to meet customer delivery requirements.  This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday on a double day shift pattern (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm). You may be required to work outside these hours during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Carrying out despatch duties in a safe, consistent, and reliable manner.
• Ensuring finished goods are packed, ready for despatch, and all relevant paperwork is completed correctly and available as required.
• Loading vehicles safely and according to instructions.
• Maintaining forklift in good working order.
• Operating the pallet wrapping machine.
• Identifying areas for improvement and putting forward new ideas.
• Complying with all health and safety regulations and practices.
• Maintaining good housekeeping.

• Forklift Truck License (Counterbalance and Reach)
•  Ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative
• Capacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Personable with good communication and relationship-building capabilities across all levels of the business.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Someone who will contribute positively to the effectiveness and efficiency of the Despatch department
