Job Description:
- Manage your own allocation of customers in detail from the initial order to the delivery of the product, ensuring each department is on schedule.
- Process orders and provide timelines to meet deadlines.
- Maximise customer satisfaction by responding to queries efficiently and professionally.
- Establish good working relationships with all internal departments.
- Provide accurate estimates for new orders confidently.
- Work closely with Sales Account Managers and regularly update them with sales forecasts.
- Participate in regular review meetings, including for customer service performance.
- Support the team with absence (sickness and holiday cover).
- Stay after shift to finish tasks when needed (e.g., to solve problems that may arise late in the day).
Job Requirements:
- Confident in conversing with customers (new and existing).
- Able to prioritise tasks and organise resources efficiently.
- Attention to detail with the ability to identify and solve hidden problems.
- Good level of English and Maths.
- IT literate (including Excel and Word).
Required Skills:
- Experience in a Customer Service role (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Experience and/or ability to handle challenging situations.
