Forklift Operative – Day shift

We are looking for a keen Forklift Operative for our client based in Andover.

The client is a family-owned and run business, which specialises in warehouse, ambient grocery and beverage storage.

Do you have a valid Forklift Licence? If so, you may be suitable for the role!

Key responsibilities:

–          Loading and unloading of containers and trailers

–          Moving stock using a counterbalance forklift truck

–          Perform general warehouse duties when not required on the forklift truck

–          Ensuring you maintain a safe, clean and tidy workspace

–          Operate the forklift truck in a safe manner

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

–          You must hold a valid UK Forklift Counterbalance licence. This must be via a fully accredited governing body (ie: RTITB, ITSSAR, CITB etc.) Unfortunately we cannot accept an in-house licence.

–          Experience is desired, but no necessary. If you have recently received your forklift licence, please still get in touch.

More about the role:

–          Monday – Friday

–          Temporary on-going role

–          07:00 – 17:00

–          Paid at 11.69 per hour

–          Overtime after 47.5 hours a week with competitive rates

–          Full PAYE
