Despatch Operatives Needed for a Leading Food Manufacturing Company

Are you ready to join a dynamic team in the heart of food production? We’re currently seeking experienced Despatch Operatives for our client based in the picturesque village of Lacock. Our client, with a rich history dating back to 1926, operates a state-of-the-art facility where free-range and organic eggs are carefully packed for distribution.

Role Overview: As a Despatch Operative, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that products reach customers promptly and efficiently. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a minimum of 6 months’ experience and are comfortable working with an Electric Pump Truck, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of 6 months in warehousing, picking/packing, or despatch.
• Physical Fitness: The role involves lifting and moving packages, so a good level of physical fitness is essential.
• Team Player: You’ll collaborate with colleagues to meet daily targets, so teamwork is key.
• Initiative: Show us your problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills are important.
• Willingness to Learn: We value a proactive attitude and a desire to grow within the company.

Working Hours: You’ll follow a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, with standard hours from 6am to 6pm. 

Transport: Due to the cleints remote location, you’ll need your own transport.
