We’re looking for a Goods in Operative to work for our client based in Corsham on their 2pm to 10pm shift. 

If you can demonstrate that you are a hard-working individual with a good attention to detail, then you could be exactly what they’re looking for.

The Role:

As the goods in operative you’ll report to the team leader and will be primarily responsible for ensuring goods are booked into stock and put away in thier correct locations. 

In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:

– Ensuring the correct manual handling techniques are used

– Complying with all hygiene and food safety procedures

– Booking in stock 

– Putting away stock to the correct locations

The Candidate:

To be considered for the Goods In Operative role you’ll need to be able to demonstrate that you are a hard-working individual with a good attention to detail and MUST be comfortable working outside aswell as inside. 

In addition, you’ll need excellent organisational skills and good timekeeping and reliability skills.

The ideal person for the role will be the following:

– Physically fit

– Able to work Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm 

– Hardworking

– A forklift license would be desirable but is not essential

This position could be right for you if you want to work as either a Warehouse Operative, Production Operative, Forklift Operative or Despatch Operative.

The Package:

Basic salary:  £13 per hour plus shift allowance 

Benefits:  On site parking, overtime opportunities, staff shop open Tuesdays and Thursday for heavily discounted meats
